Consolidated Container Company Implements PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2004--Consolidated Container Company announced today that it has successfully completed the system-wide implementation of its new enterprise resource planning system, PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne (formerly J.D. Edwards 5). Consolidated is the third largest blow molder, manufacturing more than 1,000 products to serve over 1,500 customers from its 70 locations across North America.

Formed by the merger of three rigid plastic container manufacturers in 1999, Consolidated's legacy systems were not uniform. "The successful implementation standardized systems and processes across all locations enabling more accurate and timely information for customer service, reporting, and planning," said Andrew Ziegele, CIO. "We seek to continually improve our customer service capabilities," added Beth Duncan, VP of Customer Experience, "and our implementation of PeopleSoft takes us to a new level of customer friendliness."

"Our investment in and successful implementation of this system demonstrates our commitment to innovation, quality, and service benefiting our customers," stated Steve Macadam, CEO. "Our goal is to be the easiest in the industry to do business with, and the positive feedback we have received is both tremendous and validating."

Consolidated Container Company LP is a leading U.S. developer, manufacturer, and marketer of blow-molded rigid plastic containers for the consumer, beverage, and industrial markets.
