Consolidated Container Company

Capabilities

Diverse Manufacturing Platform

CCC operates a diverse manufacturing platform throughout over 50 facilities. Whether we're using Rotary (Wheel) machines for high-volume product output, Reciprocating Screw (Recip) machines for molding light-weight containers in fast cycle times, or Shuttle machines which produce the broadest range of container size and shape variation, CCC's core equipment is well positioned to provide our customers with the right technology for the right application. In addition, CCC utilizes Accumulating Head (for polycarbonate bottle production) and Injection Stretch Blow equipment (PET bottle production) for specific product-manufacturing requirements. All of our manufacturing processes exploit prevailing "lean manufacturing" techniques, reaping the greatest efficiencies, attaining the highest yields, and providing the greatest possible economies of scale for our customers.

Technology and Materials Expertise

  • High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Polycarbonate (PC)
  • Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
  • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
  • High "post consumer regrind" (PCR) content resins
  • Multi-layer / barrier layer technology resins
CCC's vast materials expertise provides the knowledge to process and bring to market packages in a wide array of materials. In addition to HDPE, PP, PET, and PC we have developed materials for special applications, including bimodal resins for strength and stress crack performance, co-polyesters for clear handleware, multiple technologies for barrier performance, and use of high levels of PCR and biopolymers to drive sustainability improvement.

Our position in the national and global resin markets enables CCC to attain the greatest economies of scale and maximizes our cost effectiveness in raw plastic materials. Our expansive purchasing not only provides competitive product pricing, but assures CCC's "continuity of supply" for plastic resin, which allows us to consistently manufacture customers' products without interruption.

Supply Chain Fulfillment

More than ever before, OEM companies must maximize product inventory and inventory turns. CCC supports our customers' initiatives in these areas through a variety of product fulfillment services. Whether using traditional "make and ship" logistics or various supply chain and inventory management options, CCC's creative solutions provide just-in-time product fulfillment value to customers. Since each product and customer is unique, we offer unique results. We listen to our customers and frequently co-develop innovative solutions to fit specific supply chain needs.

On-Site Manufacturing Facility

The ultimate service offering is CCC's on-site capability. For those customers who desire a consistent and dedicated bottle supply and are interested in a long term supply relationship, we create a CCC factory either inside or adjacent to their location. Fulfilling your container needs through on-site packaging allows CCC to bring our manufacturing expertise in-house, creating savings in labor, packaging and freight costs. An on-site facility functions as an extension of the customer's manufacturing operation. Containers are created in the same space as the filling operation, allowing immediate product filling and expedited shipping to retail markets. Our 16 on-site facilities testify to the enormous success of partnering with us to bottle your product on location.
